{"id":27846,"date":"2024-04-16T11:08:01","date_gmt":"2024-04-16T11:08:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/scmwizard.com\/?p=27846"},"modified":"2024-04-16T11:08:01","modified_gmt":"2024-04-16T11:08:01","slug":"field-44c-latest-date-of-shipment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scmwizard.com\/field-44c-latest-date-of-shipment\/","title":{"rendered":"Field 44C Latest Date of Shipment in LC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Field 44C <strong>Latest Date of Shipment<\/strong> is a conditional field in a letter of credit.<\/p>\n<p>Either field 44C or 44D (<strong>Shipment Period<\/strong>) will be present on the LC but not both.<\/p>\n<p><strong>According to MT700 Network Validated Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>C3 Either field 44C or 44D, but not both, may be present (Error code(s): D06).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>But if the transport documents is not required as per LC (Required documents), then, <strong>this field may not be present.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Field 44C (Latest date of shipment) specifies the latest date for loading on board, dispatching, or taking in charge.<\/p>\n<p>Transport documents will validate this condition and should not pass the date mentioned in the \u201cLatest date of shipment\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Transport documents might be \u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Road, Rail or inland water transport documents<\/li>\n<li>Air transport documents<\/li>\n<li>Bill of Lading<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This Date should be in this format: <strong>YYMMDD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Scenario 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the case of a single shipment \u2013 there will be single transport documents that should maintain the latest date of shipment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Scenario 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the case of a partial shipment, there will be several transport documents containing different shipment dates. But all dates should be before the latest date of shipment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remark:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the case of a regular LC of 90 days validity, after the latest shipment date, there should be a presentation period of 15 days or 21 days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Field 44C Latest Date of Shipment is a conditional field in a letter of credit.
